Bio:
Fred Hacker
Fred is a Midland Ontario native. He has a BA (Political Science) from McMaster University and a Law Degree from the University of Toronto. He studies Theology at the graduate school level at Tyndale University and Seminary.
Fred is a member and Sustaining Elder of Knox Presbyterian Church in Midland.
Fred practised law in Midland for 40 years and was Founding Managing Partner of the regional Law Firm HGR Graham Partners.
He was the Founding Chair/President of the Midland Cultural Centre (MCC) and now serves as a Director and Chair Emeritus. He was Host and Community Producer of a live-before-an-audience televised conversation program “A Day in the Life” for 11 seasons.
Fred is the Chair/President of Life4Kids Canada, a registered charity that financially supports a home for abandoned, homeless, and orphaned boys in Nairobi Kenya.
He is a member and a Past President of the Midland Rotary Club.
Fred has been engaged in numerous charitable fund-raising campaigns for more than 50 years.
He has received a number of recognitions.
Fred is blessed to be married to Barb (for the longest 55 years of her life) and has three wonderful daughters and four spectacular grandchildren.
